New Year’s Eve is a night where we look back and celebrate what has been, and we say cheers to new beginnings… and this year, that is especially the case for both me and GailGray Home. It is with much excitement that I can share with all of you that Carolyn Gagnon will be taking the helm as the new steward of GailGray Home.
For over 10 years, Carolyn has been a driving force behind the success of our store, working as a sales associate, bookkeeper, inventory control, and now an interior designer. She understands the ins and outs of this business… and perhaps knows it quite better than I do! I know she will do a phenomenal job maintaining the legacy of GailGray Home.
When I started GailGray Home in 1999, I never thought the day would come when I would hand off my “baby” to someone else… but now, I’m ready to spend more time traveling with Mike and being with my family. But don’t worry – I will still be around, to act as a North Star for Carolyn through this change. I’m even planning to join her at market.
Because of you all, GailGray Home has been much more than a store – it has been a celebration of family and friends, and of course, our homes. It’s generations of families starting their holiday season here. It’s couples building their lives, trusting us to help make their houses into homes. It’s friends planning dinner parties, dropping by to get tablescape ideas… and so much more.
In addition to Carolyn’s contributions over the past 10 years, I am so grateful for every member of my team. I feel truly blessed to have been surrounded by such a great team that feels more like family. The entire team has been gracious and warm to this transition.
Cheers to New Beginnings
As the clock strikes midnight, I will say cheers to new beginnings, and to the continued legacy of GailGray Home. I am so excited to see where it goes in the oh-so-capable hands of Carolyn and the wonderful team behind her!
So many great things await us all. I wish you a season of new beginnings and fresh starts, whatever that may mean for you! Come by and meet Carolyn, the wonderful new guardian of GailGray Home.
